Tuesday, July 14th: Demonstration at Egyptian Embassy called by Cynthia McKinney and George Galloway

Cynthia McKinney was the 2008 Green Party candidate for President. McKinney has been working with groups trying to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza.

From an e-mail sent by a McKinney supporter:

We just received word that the Viva Palestina convoy is still being held in Egypt despite negotiations. Convoy organizers Cynthia McKinney and George Galloway are calling for protests tomorrow. Those of us who are in Washington, DC will be gathering tomorrow (Tuesday, July 14) outside the Egyptian embassy at noon to demand that Egyptian authorities allow the aid through! Please come out and spread the message!

More information on the convoy can be found at: www.vivapalestina-us.org

The Egyptians are right to halt this convoy. The group involved sympathizes with the terrorists ruling Gaza who have been threatening Egypt for quite some time.
