Maybe a little off-topic but I don’t know exactly where else I might pose this question. Why would an editor and columnist,Fred Dicker, for Rupert Murdoch’s New York newspaper the NY Post attack the most conservative Gubernatorial candidate in a generation, Carl Paladino? And why would Paladino suggest that Dicker is working for the Democratic candidate, Andrew Cuomo? What am I missing here?

DO NOT KNOW, AFTER ALL ‘NEW YORK, NEW YORK’ SO WIERED (Coty Banks) YOU HAVE TO SAY IT TWICE”

You send another goon to my daughter’s house,” Paladino said, “and I’ll take you out, buddy!”

Paladino erupted when Dicker approached the candidate before a business confab and asked him for evidence to back up his claims that Democratic nominee Andrew Cuomo had been unfaithful years ago to his then-wife. Paladino responded that he had evidence but that the reporter wouldn’t get it until “the appropriate time.”

The candidate also shot back at Dicker over the Post’s recent coverage of Suzanne Brady, a woman with whom he had an extramarital affair, and their 10-year-old daughter.

Paladino said the influential Albany reporter was a “stalking horse” for Cuomo and was confronting Paladino only to help out the Democratic candidate

NEW YORK – Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino told Orthodox Jewish leaders on Sunday he doesn’t want children “brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality” is acceptable.

Paladino, who has received tea party support, said he chose not to march in this summer’s gay pride parade but his opponent did.

He skipped one line from his prepared text in his speech at the synagogue: “There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual.”

In a statement issued after midnight, Paladino said he did not agree with the passage. ……… inspired by my Catholic beliefs,” Paladino said in the statement. “I also oppose discrimination of any form.”
