There is a new diet program out there. It is called “Hanging with Root”. Just spend a day with Wayne and I guarantee you will lose 5 lbs. I probably lost 10 lbs. Wow, unlimited energy.

Which Giffords will Mr. Root talk about – the conservative, Blue-Dog Democrat he spoke so respectfully of after her shooting, or the conscious agent of a Socialist cabal he spoke of before her shooting?

Wow, we haven’t seen this much interest in a Libertarian speaker since Harry Browne, and (before him) Karl Hess. Is there, or shouldn’t there be, a scheduler in the national office trying to put an LP speaker – Hinkle, whomever – on a show everyday? Does each state LP have a list of all talk shows, etc. in their state where they can periodically propose a guest?

@ # 3. Ohio LP has a media list. In fact, we set up a Communication Division with people dedicated to posting press releases and making media contacts. We are frequently on various radio shows and doing interviews. We are growing too big to be held back by the time-limited old chair– that be me. Nothing like delegating.

ATBAFT@3 Chairman Hinkle doesn’t like Wayne and is jealous of the attention he gets.

Wes Benedict, our ED is the same.

It’s a tragedy how hate gets in the way of opportunity for the LP.

I need to lose some weight. Anyone want to raise a few bucks so I can attend Wayne’s Boot Camp? 🙂

    I don’t think there’s one now, but it’s a good idea.

Also, some Libertarians are trying to raise money to hire one. Marc Montoni is heading that up if I am not mistaken.

Bruce are you just spouting off or do you have something to back this claim up?

Gee, I wonder what Mr. Hinkle and Mr. Benedict have against Wayne?

Who wouldn’t like such a loveable, flip-flopping, egotistical Republican?

I have formulated some ideas, and it appears the LP national office will be creating a “LP speakers list” for state chairs and event planners. Mark Hinkle is also supportive of this.
The national party must do all possible to help state affiliates. Many state chairs are new to the position and movement and any help is HUGE.
Why try to create something, when we could have the information housed in the national office. It would be up to the state parties and event planners to negotiate with the speaker in regards to fees, flights, hotels, meals, etc.

And yes, Wayne Root should be on the list of speakers.
