Brief CCTUC Meeting Report for June 8th, 2013

Here is the latest report from the Clarion Call to Unite Committee (CCTUC). The CCTUC is an organization that aims to unite all right-wing and constitutionalist minor parties under one banner. This group has been well chronicled on IPR, one needs to only do a search for them in the search box on the site to find out more.

The Clarion Call To Unite Committee held their phone conference on June 8th, at 8:30am (PST).
I, and Kelly Gneiting of the IAP, Jack Brown and Rick Hake of the Constitution Party of Oregon, and John Mealer of the Americans Elect of Arizona Independent were in attendance during the meeting. Unfortunately, Douglas Joy of the American Party couldn’t attend due to a illness, and Markham Robinson of the American Independent Party of California had prior commitments.

The opening benediction was given by Kelly Gneiting, and the first order of business was to table the ‘Clarion Call To Unite Resolution’ until a more appropriate time would come where it could be worked on further; as the majority of those in negotiation with the CCTUC felt that it was still too early to draft and ratify the document at the present moment.

Afterwards, strategy on party-building and organizing were discussed throughout the rest of the conference, with John Mealer soon after talked about his upcoming campaign for Arizona Governor next year.

In conclusion, it was agreed to set the date of the next CCTUC monthly call for the 20th of July, with the specific time to be determined later on. Closing benediction was given by Rick Hake.

The meeting was a good success and while the strategy of uniting the parties has greatly changed during the last three months, it is still a realistic goal that is gradually being accomplished each and every day by us.
