Complete agreement w/ Arvin Vohr and Kokesh. I will only add(as an additional counter to Sharpe) that the “single mother on welfare” is the conservative exemplar of the welfare state. The military Industrial complex is the libertarian definition…

Both are examples of the welfare state.

Also, while I agree that there is a tremendous amount of waste in the military budget, and that much of what the military does is counter-productive and destructive, if one were to argue from the small government/minarchist perspective, one could say that at least the military has some constitutional basis (even though it often gets used in an unconstitutional manner), and that in if coercive government ceased to exist, there would still be a need/demand for protection/defense, which could be provided by private security companies and/or voluntary militias. There is no constitutional basis for Marxist wealth redistribution.

I say this as someone who agrees more with the arguments put forth here by Arvin Vohara and Adam Kokesh, although I still see where Larry Sharpe is coming from and I consider him to be an asset to the party and movement.
