    Hi Jonathan, welcome to IPR.

I was a contributor from December 31st, 2012 to October 3rd, 2016. I published over 1,500 records – hopefully you can beat that, should that be your goal. I like how both of your posts are OC (Original content). Keep it up.

I always found that best way to say hello to someone is to tell them how awesome you are . . . .

I’m not a fan of most of the Green Party’s policy positions, but it’s still good to see a third party politician doing this well. Of course, we’ll have to wait until after the election to see how things turn out…

The guy leading is not from the Green Party. The Green Party candidate is Howie Hawkins who had 5% in the poll. We shall see how it all turns out today.

From the election returns I’m seeing, it looks like Ben Walsh is going to win.

You’re right; I missed that in the list of candidates (in fairness, there were a lot so I sort of skipped through that part of the article). I just saw this was tagged under Green Party and assumed that the guy was Green Party, but it looks like that was referring to Hawkins instead. It looks like Ben Walsh is just an Independent.

He also won the election significantly more decisively than the cited poll predicted, as he ended up getting 54% of the vote.

I intend to make a new post on the election results, which hopefully should be up later today. But in short, Ben Walsh got 54% of the vote.

Well, I wrote an article specific to this race, but I also plan on making posts on a number of other elections as well. I’ll check out the open thread.
