Bernie DeCastro Runs for Sheriff in Florida as Constitution Party Candidate

Bernie DeCastro previously ran for U.S. Senate in Florida as the candidate of the Constitution Party, but did not make much headway. Now, he has launched a campaign for Sheriff which is more localized.

DeCastro is a candidate with a compelling message.

Once sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years for his role in a drug-related armed robbery, DeCastro was paroled in 1984 and pardoned by the late Gov.

Snitker Beats Rubio In Straw Poll

ORLANDO – In a shocking upset, grassroots U.S. Senate candidate Alexander Snitker defeated GOP frontrunner Marco Rubio in a straw poll held at the Florida Liberty Summit hosted by Campaign for Liberty at the Rosen Center in Orlando, Florida this weekend.

Snitker said of his surprise win, “I think this shows that Americans are starting to shy away from the two-party political class, and are instead looking for candidates that will uphold the Constitution and defend their personal and economic freedoms.”

Latest Florida US Senate Polls Have Crist Up, Excludes Third Party Candidates

The latest poll in the US Senate race in Florida put Independent candidate, and sitting Governor, Charlie Crist ahead. The three way poll, conducted by the St. Petersburg Times, Miami Herald, and Bay News 9, puts Crist ahead with 30%, above the Republican candidate, Marco Rubio, with 27%.
