Jill Stein Raises More Money Post-Election for Recounts than Pre-Election for Campaign

Green Party nominee Jill Stein has been engaged in a post-election fundraising drive in order to pay for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. She does not dispute her own vote totals in those states, but is basing her claim on alleged irregularities, the possibility that voting machines were hacked, and how “unexpected” the results were.… Read more ...

Libertarian Booster PAC offers more campaign materials to Texas candidates

The Libertarian Booster PAC, co-founded by this writer (Wes Benedict), recently sent an offer to provide more campaign materials to non-federal Libertarian Party candidates in Texas.

The Libertarian Booster PAC Mission Statement:

“Our mission is to promote liberty by helping candidates run efficient Libertarian campaigns. We help with the basics like websites, campaign materials, and paperwork, so our candidates can focus on the fun stuff like debating their opponents and getting in the press.”

Prior to the most recent offer, the Libertarian Booster PAC had already provided:

  • 33 websites to candidates
  • 1,395 yard signs to 30 candidates
  • 2900 bumper stickers to 27 candidates
  • 1200 business cards to 25 candidates

LP VP Judge Gray Announces $1,000,000 Donation

Judge Jim Gray, at the Gary Johnson fundraiser held at former VP Nominee and current LNC member Wayne Allyn Root’s home, before a crowd of about 80 donors gathered around the outdoor pool on an unusually cool and humid Las Vegas evening, announced that a generous Libertarian supporter had recently donated $1,000,000 to a super pac supporting the Gary Johnson 2012 campaign to “keep us going.”

Judge Gray then repeated his statement that he accepted Governor Johnson’s invitation to become his VP running mate on the condition that the Governor run the race to win it.  … Read more ...

Gary Johnson raises money for debate

Libertarian Presidential nominee Gary Johnson is still struggling to get his name on the polls, so in an effort to garner more media attention, Johnson started a new money bomb with the goal of getting $10,000 for every percent needed to get into the debates, $150,000 in total. State polls show him with roughly 6-9%, but Johnson hopes that can change after his continued success at achieving ballot access and changing his focus towards getting more votes.… Read more ...

Jill Stein: 60 hours to win 5 states

The deadline for Federal Matching Funds is June 30th, and Jill Stein’s Presidential campaign is getting close to meeting their goals.

These are our remaining target states: Arizona, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. If you know anyone in those states (you do, don’t you?) please send them a note asking them to donate to Jill Stein for President).

Green Party: Support Public Financing over Corporate Cash!

With the deadline for public matching funds fast approaching, the Green Party is making one final push to get their candidates to raise enough money.

The Supreme Court just made another ruling allowing unlimited corporate money into state and local elections. The justices had an opportunity to revisit the awful decision they made in Citizens United, but chose corporate greed over democracy for a second time.

Jill Stein qualifies for matching funds in Texas

Jill Stein, presidential candidate of the Green Party, just qualified for matching funds in the state of Texas. In order to succeed she has to raise $5000 in 20 states, and it must be done by June 30th. The following is an email to help her fundraising.

In fundraising pitch, Jill Stein campaign updates supporters on progress toward receiving public funding

Today Jill Stein’s campaign, aimed at securing the Green Party’s nomination for president, sent out a fundraising email with the pitch of “Double Your Green.”  That is, if Stein raises $5,000 in donations of $250 or less from 20 or more states, the federal government will then match donations of that amount dollar-for-dollar. … Read more ...
