Goode Campaigns in Wyoming and Nevada, Attends American Independent Party Convention in CA

Virgil Goode has been on a Western States tour for his presidential campaign. The nominee of the Constitution Party was in Wyoming a few days ago and called for deep cuts to the federal budget as a solution to the issues of over-taxation and the national debt.

Goode said he would also make reducing the deficit and balancing the federal budget his immediate priorities.

John DeTar helped to co-found the Independent American Party in 1968 as a vehicle for the candidacy of then-Governor George Wallace. Sharron Angle Once Belonged to Constitution Party Affiliate in Nevada

The Wall Street Journal reported today on the former party affiliation of the  GOP nominee for Senate in Nevada, Sharron Angle. From 1992 until 1997 Angle was a member of the Independent American Party of Nevada, the state affiliate of the national Constitution Party.

As it happens, one party on the ballot — the Independent American Party of Nevada — is a party that Angle herself once belonged to.
