IPR’s Second 2016 Libertarian Party Presidential Preference Poll Results: Johnson Leads But May Face Convention Fight

IPR conducted a poll with SurveyMonkey from May 11–18 asking readers to select their preferences for the Libertarian Party’s 2016 presidential and vice presidential nominations.  173 individuals participated in the poll.

For President, participants were asked to select from the 18 presidential candidates recognized at LP.org or write-in any name.  Overall, nearly a majority 47.98% of the participants preferred former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson. … Read more ...

On May 8th, 2016, Politics1.com, a well respected online comprehensive directory of political candidates and parties, tweeted “Ex-Cong Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI), a Tea Party activist, launches run for Libertarian Party’s VP nomination.”
