The budget approved at the recent LNC meeting in San Diego contains significantly less money for staff salaries than the previous budget, and Haugh has been writing articles at Liberty For All which have been highly critical of LP national chair Bill Redpath.… Read more ...

Libertarian Party Transparency Caucus debate

Members of the Libertarian Party Transparency Caucus are debating the controversy between chair Bill Redpath and Political Director Sean Haugh.

West Virginia LP chair Matt Harris writes,

I think we need to issue a release in support of Bill Redpath. A big part of Haugh’s assault was that Redpath chose to deal with the Keaton matter openly and in public.

Libertarian Party employee Sean Haugh: ‘Open season on women’ as long as Bill Redpath is LP national chair

In remarks published in Liberty for All, LP Political Director Sean Haugh details allegations of sexual harassment against former LNC member M Carling, and says that they led to the current sexual harassment policy in the LNC manual, which he quotes in his article. Haugh goes on to say,

The Resolution of Discipline against Angela Keaton by Stewart Flood presented at the LNC Meeting in San Diego, December 6-7, 2008, included several allegations of sexual harassment.
