Alaskan Independent Bob Bird writes to [email protected]:
I have no way of analyzing Palin except from the standpoint of the knowledge I have become convinced about — namely, the Insiders who really control world events & politics have most likely compromised her.
She betrayed Alaska’s interests by breaking a key campaign promise, before she was chosen to be McCain’s running mate. Namely, she sold out our natural gas to Canada and the corporatists. It smells like a carefully crafted test by the Insiders to see if she will do their bidding at Alaska’s expense. She passed.
She is emotionally invested in overseas adventurism with her son in Iraq.
She met with Henry Kissinger shortly after her VP selection, an obviously sinister move.
She does not understand states’ rights and wimped out of challenging the state and federal courts on prolife issues. That was standard wisdom, but she refused to consider a different and more courageous viewpoint, one offered by long-time conservative supporters and even the outgoing Lt. Governor.
She was happy to accept plenty of unconstitutional federal money. Of course, the legislature goes along with this. This violates all their oaths of office.
Her tabloid celebrity status is not her fault. Perhaps this is why she is extracting herself. But more likely, it is much easier to prepare a run for president without being encumbered with an office. Yet the term expired in 2010, perfect timing. So, why did she do this now? If her reasons are truly personal, good for her. If she is accepting Marching Orders, bad for her.
My thoughts are mere speculation. Probably good-for-nothing.
My bottom line is: I don’t trust her.

all sarah has to do, is point at obama on the left side of her and point at romney on the right side of her and just say one word “CORRUPT”.. and a instant victory.. watch and see.. i think alot of people under estimate her for sure.. i think its gonna be just that simple
Third Party Revolution,
Bob Bird wrote to IPR regarding Sarah Palin’s involvement with the Alaska Independence Party. The link is here:

I was waiting for Bob Birds thoughts on this.
Her husband was registered for the AIP. Although the family recently issued a statement calling that an accident because it is next to something else on the registration form. Apparently he would rather be seen as a moron who can’t fill out a simple form than as a member of the AIP.
Was Sarah Palin ever a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, or did she just have strong ties with it? I know that Todd was a member though.
Who’s on first?
Anybody.
Who is Who?
Who wouldn’t trust Sarah Palin?
