Via Punk Patriot: Ralph Nader on CSPAN:
In regards to a possible 2012 presidential run, Nader says he is looking for another progressive candidate to get behind, but has not yet decided whether he will run himself again if he can’t find one that is willing and suitable. He brings up the unfairness of debate exclusion and ballot access barriers, and says he has a new “debate strategy” which he does not elaborate on. He says he will encourage more people to run at the local, state and national level.
Punk Patriot’s comment is that US ballot access barriers are “kind of like how in Egypt other parties are allowed to run, except they are disqualified for technical reasons.”
Ralph Nader was on the ballot as an independent presidential candidate in 2008 and 2004 and as the Green Party presidential candidate in 2000 and 1996.
