I’m sick & tired of Root. Always dozens of comments. The same old crap.
I call for a boycott of Root.
    No more ccomments.
    No more reading his crap.
    No visiting his website.
    No reading his book.
& no contributions or voting for him.
    Shun Root.
    & Ron Paul.
    No More Counterrevolutionaries.

    Robert Milnes for President!

He’s so much smarter than the rest of us.
    Especially Wayne Root.

Mister Milnes is also far better looking and a better public speaker than Wayne.

    PLAS for everyone!

  4. Anyone Ever Heard of This "Maggie"?

The award is called a ‘Maggie’, considered the Oscar of the magazine industry.

Who considers the “Maggie” the “Oscar” of the magazine industry?

I’ve heard of the Oscar, Emmy, Tony, Grammy, Alma, Pulitzer, Nobel, Clio, Rassie — and even the now defunct Ace Cable Award.

I’ve never heard of a “Maggie.”

    Is this a self-generated moniker?

Sort of like Root sending out press releases calling himself the “King of Las Vegas,” after which Root claims “The media calla me the King of Las Vegas.”

  5. Wayne Root

Funny thing how my critics try so hard to find fault in what I say…but because I’m so high profile, and I expect people to be watching every word I say, I triple check every word…so there is never any fault to find.

The “Maggie being the Oscar of the magazine industry” was a direct quote from Seven magazine. It was not my quote. They are up for the award and put that story in their most recent issue.

The “King of Vegas” moniker was not my name. My how the cynical people want desperately to believe I made that up. In reality, I was dubbed “the King of Vegas” and “The Face of Las Vegas Gaming” and “The King of Vegas Sports Gambling” by numerous newspapers and a book called “Vegas Dreams” about the biggest stars in Vegas.

I was also called “the King of Vegas” by the Las Vegas Walk of Stars…they actually inscribed that name into my granite star in the sidewalk on Las Vegas Strip in front of NYNY. On the day I received that star…it was declared “Wayne Root Day” in Clark County, Nevada (home of Las Vegas) and the state of Nevada. I only quote what was said as FACT by the media.

Interesting how my critics want to accuse me of lying or exaggerating…but they are the ones lying and slandering. And I’m triple fact checking.

And here’s the really fun part…the critics are 99% of the time anonymous on the Internet. Because if they ever peeked their heads out from under the rock they are hiding under…they’d be sued for slander.

From now on why don’t we make a new rule…you can say anything you want about me or anyone else…as long as:

    #1) It’s true

#2) You triple check like I do before making wild untrue accusations.

#3) You write your comments only under your real name.

Try it some time. It’s liberating.

And if critics and negative people won’t do that…assume everything they write is lies and slander.

I hope you can all see how wrong it is when others try to denigrate me with lies and misinformation. How would you feel if it was you or your family that was being lied about?

    Wayne

    @4,

The Maggie is a real award and it’s been around for decades.

Congratulations to Seven on the nomination, and to Wayne for giving them the photo shoot that got it for them.

O.K. WAR (Agent .004, that’s right not Agent 004 but “point” (.) ZERo ZEro four) I’ll go 2 of 3 on your suggestions. I won’t use my name because I, unlike some on here, realize the “enemy” is watching and I want it to take as long as possible for them to show up at my front door!

Truth and triple check, and anyone can forever check for that matter. I’m the guy who listens to campaign promises. If you get nominated as a candidate you are held to those promises. I am still waiting on the small business and professional gamblers you promised as voters for the LP in 2008. “Millions” you stated. What happened to all those vote(r)s? You didn’t deliver them and frankly you won’t delivery these Republican voters you appear before weekly. They will vote R as they always do, unless you scare them enough into waking up. I don’t think you are attempting to do that with each media appearance. If you were you wouldn’t be getting all the media gigs. They (the R audience) will continue in the fog of the The Left-Right Paradigm if no one awakens them.

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.” – Carroll Quigley-(Bill Clinton said Quigley was his mentor during 1993 Inaugural Address), speaking of the (CFR) Globalists’ American political strategy since the early twentieth century.

“The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which originated in England … [and] … believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.” – Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton said Quigley was his mentor during 1993 Inaugural Address), speaking of their (CFR’s) political goal since the early twentieth century. ~~~

Why don’t you enter the Republican Primary race? Get all the publicity you can, then if (when) that fails bring that money and support back to the LP.
The fact is if you did enter the RPP you would have an extremely hard time even having your name mentioned with the Romneys and CFR Gingrichs, much less allowed on a debate stage with them. Am I wrong? PROVE me wrong, .004.

On a positive(?) note. You are so CUTE in this cover shot. You look so young! Amazing what air brushes can do for old guys!-lol

The government is insecure. It wants to make sure nothing comes of all that LP ballot access.
What better way than to make sure a dupe gets it.

  9. Jill Pyeatt

Wayne @ 8: Congrats on the nomination. I’m glad to see that you’ve checked in this evening. We could use some clarification on your article “Why Do Politicians Want to Punish Rape Victims”. Would you kindly read the comments starting at 35, and clarify your article?

    Thanks!

Congratulations on the Maggie nomination, Wayne and Seven. I hope you win the award.

More good news for Mr. Root: A newly-released document backs his assertion that there is something very strange about Barry Obama’s (purported) time at Columbia.

Records from the Student Clearing House show even more shocking evidence. In his memoirs and multiple speeches Obama wrote that he studied for two years at Columbia University September 1981-May 1983. He admitted that in summer of 1981 he traveled to Pakistan to visit his friends, but repeatedly claimed that from September 1981 until May of 1983 he resided in New York and studied at Columbia University. Taitz ran a check of his years of attendance at Columbia University and found out that Columbia official records show him attending Columbia university only for nine months September 1982-till May 1983 (Exhibit 3), which means that the President of the United States lied to the whole nation about his whereabouts for a whole year September 1981 until September 1982.

    wr, congrats.

I agree with you that it’s “liberating” to do what you say. Unless I see evidence to the contrary, my assumption is that your anonymous detractors and mind-reading named detractors have no interest in “liberation.” Rather, they may be validating the notion that “misery loves company.” It’s a working theory, at least.

Many Ls prefer to be off the grid and of no real consequence. They prefer to be “right” rather than consequential. Your attempt to mainstream L-ism is very threatening to these future Mad Maxes. Pay them no mind. You can’t please everyone in this Garden Party, anyhow. 😉

  13. Robert Milnes

@16 & 17, I’ve commented several times, “Once again a progressive begs a reactionary.” Here we have a progressive & a libertarian begging a counterrevolutionary.
i.e. requesting an answer-not for an action as such-from a counterrevolutionary.
Who is-in effect -in control. Not elected-yet, but in a commanding position.
So we are already pathetic. Well on the way to being vitually powerless.
So, I do not expect Wayne to answer my question. Why should he? By not supporting me, libs have made me a nobody here. He doesn’t have to answer my question or even acknowledge my existance.
But Jill might get some crap answer.

  14. Robert Milnes

@21, whenever I see the initials wr, I think Wilhelm Reich, a one time communist, not Wayne Root, counterrevolutionary, who I try to not pollute my mind with.

  15. JT

Milnes: “whenever I see the initials wr, I think Wilhelm Reich, a one time communist, not Wayne Root, counterrevolutionary, who I try to not pollute my mind with.”

It’s too late not to pollute your mind. You might as well keep going.

  16. David Colborne

My God… this thread has gone plaid!

Congratulations, Wayne! Like most industry awards out there, it may not be the most popular or well-publicized award in the free world, but it’s more coverage and positive press than moat of us have or will ever receive. Keep up the good fight!

  17. AroundtheblockAFT

Does W.A.R. say, during every appearance,
“If you are in basic agreement with what my saying, please check out the Libertarian Party. Unlike the other political parties, they stand for individual liberty. They’d love your support.”??
Sure, they may identify him as the 2008 V.P. candidate, but he needs to re-enforce it in his voice. Maybe our website tenders can even determine if there is an upswing in traffic immediately after his appearances?

  18. David Colborne

@P&L: Don’t get mad. Get even. Get yourself on a magazine cover or two. Get yourself on a media interview or two. Get yourself on a news site or two. If you want to win, you have to fight fire with fire.

  19. LibertarianGirl

P&L — IPR is dying to publish articles other thans just Waynes too , the only reason he gets so many stories here is because he writes and sends them in. They want other articles , and many of us would like to see other topics , but somebody has to write them.

  20. Darryl W. Perry

@31 – in the last 8 days, I’ve sent IPR two articles, neither has been posted here – it seems Paulie is the only one that will post my articles.
Both have been posted on HammerofTruth & iNewp as well as my site Free Patriot Press

  21. Jill Pyeatt

Darryl, I’ll try to post them to IPR
when I get home to tonight, but I went to Hammer of Truth and didn’t see them. Are they posted under your name?

  22. Tom Blanton

Has Wayne Root produced his birth certificate?

Is it possible that his father is actually Wayne Newton and this business about his dad being a Jewish butcher is merely a cover to hide the fact that Root is a secret Mormon?

  23. whatever

@36 – Has Wayne Root produced his birth certificate?

And why didn’t noted Constitutionalist Bob Barr offer to prove his own eligibility?

(Many suspect it has something to do with his near-familial resemblance to Rev. Jeremiah Wright.)

  24. whatever

@36 – Has Wayne Root produced his birth certificate?

Seriously, though – a more relevant question might be, can Wayne Root produce his parents’ naturalization papers? I don’t think that has ben cleared up yet.

  25. Peace and Love

I am pretty sure IPR has been sent several informative items to report on they just feel that Roots bull is most important to report on for some reason

  26. paulie

I’ve forwarded everything not spam we receive to everyone here, so hopefully everything will get posted. Sorry no time right now myself.

They have all been forwarded to all IPR writers. Swamped right now myself.

    @ Wayne:

From now on why don’t we make a new rule…
I’d rather not, but will at least see your proposal

you can say anything you want about me or anyone else…
    OK

    as long as:
    the catch??

    #1) It’s true
So far, so good… I don’t like spreading false information

#2) You triple check like I do before making wild untrue accusations.
So if I have three people confirm a “wild untrue accusation” I can post it? What if I call 20 people that will tell me whatever I want to hear?

#3) You write your comments only under your real name.
Sometimes it’s fun to use a pen name… I’ve done so several times, usually just for shits & giggles.

And if critics and negative people won’t do that…assume everything they write is lies and slander.
Why assume everything from someone using a pen name is a lie or slander? Does that mean you discount everything written by Mark Twain, or rather Samuel Clemens? How about Ben Franklin? Alexander Hamilton? James Madison? John Jay? Thomas Paine?

Great questions ! Is it all about Agent .004 or is he building the LP ? Does it help the LP or just Agent .004 ? Even his supporters need to ask the questions!
