Libertarian Party of Texas To Host Debate: Low Tax Versus No Tax

Big Decision, Big Debate on Saturday June 29

Greetings!

On Saturday, we have a very important decision to make.  We are about 83% towards our goal to make that decision.  I am asking you to join me.

I am making a $1,500 donation toward hiring an executive director for the Libertarian Party of

Texas.  I am already a Gold level member, but by upgrading to Platinum I am helping to put us in the best possible position to support the staffing we desperately need.

Would you be able to make a donation today?  A $25 donation makes you a member of the Libertarian Party of Texas this year.  If you are already a member, a $75 donation will promote your membership level from Basic to Bronze.  We offer several membership levels to best suit you. Any contribution of any amount is greatly appreciated!

It’s also easy to make secure, automatic monthly donations.  I have been doing this for many years and still make monthly donations this way.  We have many participants in our monthly donor program and it is very helpful for us as well as convenient for you.

Our state party does not receive any funding from the national party.  We are self sufficient and do not depend on any federal entity to subsidize us.  We certainly appreciate if you are a member of the national Libertarian Party, but we need your support to do our work in Texas.

We are close.  In August of last year we had $17,324.69 in cash.  Right now, thanks to many of you, we have $42,007.72.  If we make it to $50,000, we will have funding for an executive director for an entire year!  That is what our state committee will be looking for on Saturday.

Now is the time to help us make the most important decision of the year.  I hope your support today will result in a new executive director on Saturday June 29. Thank you!

Unlike Republicans and Democrats, the Libertarian Party of Texas holds county, district, and state conventions to nominate their candidates for public office. The party also accepts no tax dollars for their conventions.
