For Immediate Release:

Independent American Party Urges Congress to Vote NO on Military Action in Syria

“The Independent American Party urges Nevada’s Congressional Delegation to oppose authorization of military action in Syria. It is a civil war that is none of our business. We do not know who the good guys are,” stated John Wagner, State Chairman Independent American Party.

“Sarin gas was used, but we do not know who used it. It is the rebels who have the most to gain by claiming they were gassed,” continued Wagner.

“It is not in the United States’ interest to get involve in Syria. It will cost billions of American’s tax dollars and further inflame tensions in the Mid-East and the world. America’s voice should be for peace not war,” stated Wagner.

“We invite all Nevadans to contact their U.S. Senators and Congressmen and tell them to vote No on any military action in Syria. Tell Congress to just say no,” concluded John Wagner.
