By Riley J. Hood-CPoW State Chairman

There are four God-ordained “spheres of government.” They are self government, family government, church government and civil government. The Constitution Party of Wisconsin respects family government. What constitutes family government? Here are some basic answers. A family is a man, and a woman who are married.

  • Marriage: A Holy Covenant between a man and his wife, not only is this an exclusive agreement between a man and a woman, it is a Holy Covenant with God Himself. This is why weddings are officiated by a clergyman, a minister of God. The reason why you, “went to the altar,” is because in Old Testament times, the altar of sacrifice was where animals were put to death. Men, at the altar, you are putting to death your prerogatives, in favor of the woman you are marrying. The converse applies to the wife as well.
  • The Family is the man, his wife, and their children. It doesn’t mean the man owns his wife or children, like they were mere property. It means he has an exclusive authority with regards to them from God. Just as Christ is the Head of the Church, so the man is the head of the wife and of the family. The man is not in authority to “do his own thing,” he is in authority to insure that the Lord’s will be done in his family. There are plenty of commandments for the husband to love his wife (Eph.5:25-33), and to train his children in righteousness (Eph.6:1-4). Having said that, the Bible commands women to obey their own husbands.(Eph.5:22-23)

In the Gospel of Matthew 19:3-9 Jesus was questioned about divorce, Our Lord answered“Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause a man shall leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh, What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” In that answer many “modern alternatives,” are excluded, such as “living in sin,” fornication, polygamy, sodomy and homosexual marriage are excluded. The list could go on and on, but you get the general idea.

CPoW will not be an arbitrator in internal family affairs. We speak with regards to the usurpations of family government by the civil authority. Our Platform states, “CPoW calls upon our national and state officials to oppose any action by the U.S. Courts that would establish any recognition of same-sex marriage. We call upon our Wisconsin legislators to uphold the recent Wisconsin Constitutional Amendment that defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman and prevent the establishment of any counterfeit, such as domestic partnerships. We call upon all state officials to outlaw all acts of sodomy. We further call upon the Wisconsin State Legislature to repeal the provisions in the Wisconsin State Statutes that allow for “no fault divorce.”

“The marriage covenant is the foundation of the family, and the family is fundamental in the maintenance of a stable, healthy and prosperous social order. No government may legitimately define marriage or family relations contrary to what God has instituted. We recognize that parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to nurture, educate, and discipline their children. We oppose the assumption of any of these responsibilities by any governmental agency without the express delegation of the parents or legal due process.”

Robert Peck, chairman of the Constitution Party of Wisconsin, commented below the article:

Amen Constitution Party of Wisconsin! Thank you for saying it and thank you for asserting a righteous standard. Christians and so called “conservatives” have for too long waited to be attacked with the next onslaught of immorality, then tried to fend it off, hoping to loose as little ground as possible, then gone back to sleep waiting for another attack. The patriot who honors God and loves his country must be actively advocating for truth and right continuously. It is time that truth and right be on the offensive and let it’s enemies be on the defensive.

I keep reading that scripture out of context, but I still think can’t accept Riley’s literal explanation of it.

And keep posting stuff from Riley Hood, Chris. I can think of no better way to make the Constitution Party look ridiculous.

I don’t think the CP needs any more help in that department. They are doing just fine making themselves look ridiculous all on their own.

You don’t think too much of it makes IPR look ridiculous?

Oh, CLC figured out how to use the new format! I guess you’re back just in time to chase Paulie away again?

I value Independent Political Report and I believe it has a lot of value for its news of third parties. I think all of us noticed that starting around April of this year, things got very nasty and there was a lot of arguing and name calling. I’m sure I was part of it. Things got so bad that many people left, including me for a while. I decided to come back, and since then have done my very best not to participate in rudeness or name calling. I hope to get back this site back to talking about third parties and how we can contribute to the policies of the Unites States.

I’d like to ask that we all do our best to retore civility.

CLC, what do you think you contributed by that crack about Paulie? All you’ve done lately is call people hobos and then start talking about the ever-offensive Retard Party.

How about showing us that you have some intelligence and start discussing things like you used to?

Things were much more civil when Paulie left. I personally believe that he was the nazi troll and has been using various user names. I will not allow others to be uncivil to me or betray me which is why I called out New Federalist. I did not intend to be offensive to anyone but him with the mention of his Retard Party. I admit that I should have used another name such as the Idiotic Party. So I apologize to everyone except New Federalist. If New Federalist apologizes to me for his disgusting comment, I may forgive him.

I see IPs, and Paulie was NOT the Nazi troll. I also saw your conversation with New Federalist and, FWIW, did not feel he was excessively rude.

  8. paulie

Paulie hates views other than his own.

Not so. But Hood is an embarrassment. And I don’t oppose covering him every once in a while, he just does not rate this level of coverage or anything close to it.

I guess you’re back just in time to chase Paulie away again?

    Quite possibly.
