AIP Nominates Rocky De La Fuente/Kanye West Ticket; Darcy Richardson Responds

Earlier today the California ballot-qualified American Independent Party (AIP) nominated Reform Party and Alliance Party presidential nominee Rocky De La Fuente for president and rapper Kanye West for vice president.  According to Ballot Access News, the decision was unanimous save for one abstention among twenty delegates.   Even though Prohibition Party presidential nominee Phil Collins had won the party’s nonbinding presidential primary in March, De La Fuente, who finished second in the primary, paid AIP vice chairman Mark Seidenberg cash, according to FEC records, which likely improved his chances of winning the nomination.… Read more ...

Natural Law Party of Michigan Officially Nominates De La Fuente/Richardson Ticket

Yesterday, the Natural Law Party of Michigan, the last remaining ballot qualified entity of the now-defunct national Natural Law Party, officially nominated businessman Rocky De La Fuente for president and historian Darcy Richardson for vice president, Ballot Access News reports.  The Alliance Party, for which De La Fuente/Richardson is the 2020 ticket, previously announced an agreement to use the ballot line of the Natural Law Party of Michigan. … Read more ...

Reform Party Nominates Rocky De La Fuente for President

Today on the last day of the virtual 2020 Reform National Convention, the Reform Party nominated businessman Rocky De La Fuente for President and historian Darcy Richardson for Vice President. According to Ballot Access News, De La Fuente received 17 delegate votes, New Hampshire Representative Max Abramson received four, and transhumanist Ben Zion received one. … Read more ...

Reform Party Presidential Nomination Rescheduled for June 20, Candidates to Address Delegates Starting Tuesday

It was reported Saturday the Reform Party postponed its presidential nomination during its national convention.  IPR has now learned the party rescheduled the nomination for June 20.  This is due to many of the delegates being unaware there were choices for the presidential nomination other than businessman Rocky De La Fuente, the Alliance Party presidential nominee and 2016 presidential nominee of the Reform Party. … Read more ...

Reform Party Elects New Chairman, Postpones Convention Before Presidential Nomination

As reported on the Reform Party National Committee Facebook page, earlier today at the Reform Party National Committee meeting, committee secretary Nicholas Hensley defeated incumbent chairman Bill Merrell to become the party’s national chairman-elect.  Mike Hackmer will replace Hensely as secretary on January 1.  Leigh Pollet was elected vice chair. … Read more ...

Chairman Joe Wendt Threatens to Dissolve Reform Party of Florida if De La Fuente is not Nominated for President

Chairman of the Reform Party of Florida Joe Wendt has threatened to dissolve the ballot qualified Reform Party of Florida if the national party fails to nominate businessman Rocky De La Fuente for president, according to an anonymous source.  This comes as Souraya Faas considers entering the race for the party’s presidential nomination, which is to be decided at the 2020 Reform Party National Convention on June 13.… Read more ...

Max Abramson to Seek Reform Party 2020 Presidential Nomination

New Hampshire representative Max Abramson, who is currently seeking the presidential nomination of the Veterans Party of America, has stated in an email to IPR that, as of today, he is seeking the 2020 presidential nomination of the Reform Party.
