… Read more ...A Brown University poll released Tuesday shows that former U.S. Sen. Lincoln Chafee is ahead of his possible opponents for governor.
His Democratic opponents are Frank Caprio and Patrick Lynch. John Robitaillie is the only Republican in the race.
If Caprio wins the Democratic primary, Chafee would beat him in a general election with 33.8 percent of the vote to Caprio’s 28 percent and Robitaille’s 12 percent, according to the poll.
