Preliminary results show that over 1 million votes were casts for BTP endorsed candidates (1,129,631). While no BTP endorsed candidate won election Tuesday night, there were several good showings. Libertarians in the 9th District of Missouri have an interesting opportunity. Many speculate that after redistricting, this congressional district will be wiped off the map. Thus, Democrats declined to run a candidate there and left the Republican incumbent unchallenged. However, that hasn’t stopped the Libertarian Party. The Missourian reports:
