Green Party members protest plans for a coal plant in New Jersey

From NorthJersey.com:

About 20 members of the Green Party of Essex and Passaic Counties and the Sierra Club handed out fliers and recruited others in downtown Bloomfield to sign postcards opposing the power plant to be sent to Governor Christie and the state’s two U.S. senators.

“They’re trying to find all these ways to keep using coal,” said Ron DeStefano, 67, of Woodland Park, who donned a Santa outfit for the demonstration and held a poster reading “Celebrate the Earth / Go Green.”
