Insurance Commissioner Vote saves Peace & Freedom Party

Under California law, a party needs to poll at least 2% for one of its candidates for statewide Constitutional office to retain ballot status. In 1998 the Peace & Freedom Party lost ballot status when it failed to poll 2% for any of its nominees.
