According to Gary Swing, who joined the Green Party in the 1990s, the party’s last legitimate assembly was in 2016, before Mérida’s complete takeover.

HEPOLA HITS THE TRAIL: Forward Party gubernatorial candidate Cory Hepola “revealed his three main campaign ‘pillars’ during a meeting of the Perham Noon Rotary on Thursday, March 24.”

Former Radio Host Launches Forward Party Gubernatorial Run in Minnesota

Former WCCO Radio host Cory Hepola is launching a run for governor of Minnesota with the Forward Party label. Minnesota’s Forward Party is the first state affiliate of Andrew Yang’s nascent effort to launch a national political party.

Larry Sharpe is officially running for governor of New York again. Sharpe, who finished fourth in the 2018 race with 95,033 votes or 1.53%, will need to collect 45,000 valid signatures to secure a spot on the ballot in November.

Former Bush Administration Lawyer Mulling Forward Party Bid for Minnesota Attorney General

Richard Painter, currently a University of Minnesota law professor, is now reportedly pondering a run for Minnesota Attorney General on the Forward Party line. Since 2016, he has served as vice-chair of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a government watchdog group.

Painter tells Axios Twin Cities that he sees a “very wide lane in the middle” for an attorney general that would be tough on crime, but also willing to stand up to police unions without using unpopular “defund the police” rhetoric.… Read more ...
