Johnson said he’d cut the military’s budget and end Obama’s interventionism. It wasn’t until he got started on legalizing marijuana that the crowd (figuratively) lit up. A steady stream of applause followed Johnson’s declarations after that.

Yesterday at CPAC, the big conservative conference in D.C., Ron Paul supporters and other libertarians in the crowd spoiled a sweet Bush-era reunion by launching a shouting match and protest action. First, Donald Rumsfeld was brought onstage, where CPAC was to present him with, unbelievable as it sounds, its “Defender Of The Constitution” award.

Obama’s speech affirmed popular slogans: bring the troops home and focus on jobs and economic recovery at home. But it was as disingenuous as Bush’s weapons of mass destruction excuse for starting the Iraq war in the first place.

The Green Party has posted an article on it’s website, calling for President Obama to reverse Bush Administration policies on drugs, surveillance, executive power, and cuts to Social Security. Here is an excerpt:
WASHINGTON, DC — Green Party leaders challenged the Obama Administration to reverse the failed policies and reject the agenda of the Bush Administration, citing as examples the war on drugs; torture, illegal surveillance, and other Bush-Cheney abuses of power; and cuts in Social Security.
