In his speech Gov. Paterson named fiscal reform, ethics reform, and political reform as the most pressing problems facing New Yorkers in 2010.
As noted in a Daily News article, Senator Gillibrand is courting the Working Families Party (a labor-backed third party in New York, which often endorses Democratic candidates) to help her image for a possible Democratic primary, and to polish her leftist credentials for the 2010 elections.
