Videos of May 21 Libertarian Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates

On May 21 the Libertarian Party held two debates.  The first took place between the top five presidential candidates based on tokens received from national convention delegates.  The second took place between the top three vice presidential candidates also based on tokens received from delegates.

Ken Armstrong Ends 2020 Presidential Bid to Seek VP Nomination

Former Coast Guard Officer Ken Armstrong withdrew from the race for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination Wednesday with the emergence of Congressman Justin Amash as a contender.  Armstrong has now launched a campaign for the vice presidential nomination.

Known for his booming voice on the campaign trail, Armstrong, who previously served as executive director of Habitat for Humanity in Hawaii, and as a member of the Honolulu County Neighborhood Board, took his libertarian message to various debates and party meetings. … Read more ...

LP.org List of Libertarian Party Presidential Candidates

LP.org, the official website for the Libertarian Party currently lists the following individuals as candidates for the Libertarian Party’s 2020 presidential nomination.  The party’s criteria for inclusion is for the candidate to have an FEC 2 filing, sustained membership in the national party, Libertarian registration in their home state, legal qualification to be president, a functional website or Facebook page, professional quality photos, a minute long video with audio of the candidate, a dedicated campaign manager, and campaign literature with the word ‘Libertarian’ included.… Read more ...
