Virgil Goode claims he can win the Presidency

On September 30th, local Albemarle County, Virginia CBS19 interviewed Virgil Goode and his chances of winning the Presidency.

“If grassroots America wakes up and says, ‘Look, we want someone that’s for the U.S. citizen first and for grassroots America, then they’re going to vote for Virgil Goode,” he said in an exclusive interview with the Newsplex.

A website that covers Pennsylvania politics reports:
“A Pa. Court ruled that Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson has enough petition signatures to appear on the ballot in Pennsylvania, but Republicans are expected to appeal the decision by the end of the day Friday.”

Are Greens and Libertarians Spoilers?

With Jill Stein receiving the Green Party nomination, media outlets are now speculating the chances of her being a spoiler to President Obama. This is after a wave of stories regarding Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson potentially being a spoiler to Mitt Romney.

Imagine Jill Stein of the Green Party capturing a mere 1 percent of the vote in a state like Ohio but throwing the state to Mitt Romney and the Republicans as a result.

Jill Stein receives nomination from Green Party for President

On July 14, 2012, Dr. Jill Stein, candidate for President for the Green Party received its nomination and will proceed to the general election with running mate Cheri Honkala.

Stein won 193.5 delegates, compared with 72 for comedian Roseanne Barr, who did not attend.

Stein hopes the party will qualify for the ballot in at least 40 states; the total now stands at 21.

Gary Johnson raises money for debate

Libertarian Presidential nominee Gary Johnson is still struggling to get his name on the polls, so in an effort to garner more media attention, Johnson started a new money bomb with the goal of getting $10,000 for every percent needed to get into the debates, $150,000 in total.
