On June 29, 2015 Michael McDermott woke up to find a foot swollen to three times normal and colored, black, blue, purple and red. The swelling was eerily creeping up his leg almost to the knee.
Obviously something was desperately wrong and he was rushed directly to the emergency room at Huntington Hospital where the doctors determined he had gangrene and went into immediate surgery where his leg was amputated approximately 8″ below the knee.… Read more ...
