Campaigns enter their final twenty four hours

Various local elections and a special congressional election are all being held tomorrow, April 7.  There are a few Green Party candidates and one member of the Greens/Green Party USA running for office.  Low turnout is expected in each election, and the results should be interesting.

Cynthia McKinney endorses Pete Karas in Racine, WI race for mayor

2008 Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney has endorsed Pete Karas, also a Green, in his bid for mayor of Racine, Wisconsin.  According to Green Party Watch, Karas worked for McKinney’s presidential campaign and helped organize multiple Wisconsin events for her.  Racine is a city of about 80,000 and is the county seat of Racine County.… Read more ...

Update on Pete Karas, Green running for mayor in Racine

Pete Karas has previously been reported on here.  He is running for mayor of Racine, Wisconsin after the Democratic mayor resigned.  There will be a special primary on April 7 and a special election on May 5.  Here are a few recent news items on the Green Party candidate:
