Prohibition Party Provides Update on Ballot Access

The latest issue of The National Prohibitionist, the official publication of the Prohibition Party, provides the following update on ballot access for the party’s presidential ticket:

There is hardly anyone on sidewalks and
in other traditional places for petitioning.
Going door-to-door exposes both the peti-
tioners and the residents to germs picked
up elsewhere.

Super Tuesday: Phil Collins Leading California’s AIP Presidential Primary

No. Not that Phil Collins . . .

The Prohibition Party’s 2020 presidential nominee Phil Collins is leading the American Independent Party (AIP) Presidential Primary, held on Super Tuesday, with 32.8 percent of the vote.

Not all the votes have been counted, but according to the California Secretary of State website, the current tally is:

  • Don Blankenship – 7,197 votes (19.5%)

Prohibition Party Nominates New Ticket, Selects New Chairman

The Prohibition National Committee held a conference call on August 24th. The party selected its new presidential ticket for 2020. Phil Collins was nominated for president, and Billy Joe Parker was nominated for vice-president. Constitution Party Of Illinois Now Has Its First Elected Official

On April 9th, municipal elections were held throughout the state of Illinois. In Lake County (the county directly north of Cook County, where Chicago is located), the Constitution Party of Illinois elected its first officeholder in the party’s history.
