Reason: New 7% Showing in CNN Poll Almost Certainly Dooms Gary Johnson’s Debate Chances

CNN/ORC this morning came out with its first national presidential poll in more than month, and the results are terrible for Gary Johnson’s fading hopes of getting into this fall’s presidential debates. The Libertarian nominee pulled just 7 percent in the survey, down from 9 percent in the same poll at the end of July, and 13 percent—his highest-ever showing nationwide—two weeks prior to that.

New poll shows that the military favors Gary Johnson over Clinton and Trump

According to a July 20th, 2016 article by Kristina Wong published at TheHill.com, a new non-scientific poll of active duty military service members, those serving in the military reserves, retired members of the military and former members of the military as well as their family members shows Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson as the preferred candidate of those who wear or have worn the uniform.

FOXNEWS: Johnson: “Doing Better Than Most People Realize”

In an opinion piece by contributor Joe Trippi titled “Why Gary Johnson could cost Obama or Romney a win in 2012” published earlier today on Foxnews.com, Mr. Trippi concludes:

Gary Johnson Polling 12% in New Mexico

A survey done by Fairbanks, Maslin, Maullin, Metz and Associates was done recently in New Mexico and found that Gary Johnson scored 12% in the Presidential race. Another 5% chose “Undecided or Others” on the poll.

This poll showed Obama winning the state with 48% and Romney with 35%.

Johnson Polls 6% in North Carolina

Public Policy Polling is, by far, the best polling agency when it comes to including third parties in their surveys. They have included Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson in another poll, this time in North Carolina.

Gary Johnson Polling at 8% in Montana

Gary Johnson was recently found to have been polling at 15% in his home-state in New Mexico. However, now the same polling company has conducted a survey which says he is polling at 8% in Montana too.

The poll asked: “If the candidates for President this fall were Democrat Barack Obama, Republican Mitt Romney, and Libertarian Gary Johnson, who would you vote for?”

Poll: Independent Crist Leads Republican and Democratic Challengers

The Florida Senate race appears to be a whole new ballgame with Republican Governor Charlie Crist’s decision to run as an independent.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Florida Voters finds Crist earning 38% support to Republican Marco Rubio’s 34% and Democrat Kendrick Meek’s 17%. Eleven percent (11%) are undecided.
