On August 14th, 2010, delegates of the Reform Party of New Jersey gathered in Piscataway for the party’s first convention in over a decade.

Could the Reform Party of New Jersey be revived?

From the Atlantic Highlands Herald:

“I have seen an immediate upsurge in interest in over a dozen states that have previously been unorganized,” said  Collison. “I expect to see some states that disaffiliated or went inactive reactivate now that the threat of…vexatious lawsuits is lifted.”

New Jersey is among the states in which the Reform Party became inactive.

The Reform Party of New Jersey (which once ran candidates like Pat DiNizio for Senate) has been inactive since the early 2000s, when a war between Perot’s supporters and the Buchanan Brigade tore the party apart.

The Party, which is currently in the early stages of reorganization, has launched Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook accounts to keep supporters updated on the party’s progress.… Read more ...
