California State Assemblyman to face challenge from Green William Meyers

From the Times-Standard in Mendocino County, California:

Patricia Welch, chairwoman of the Humboldt County Republican Party, said that, as of Friday, no Republican has announced their intention to challenge Chesbro.

But a Green Party candidate has.

William Meyers, who lives in Mendocino County near Point Arena, has announced his intention to challenge Chesbro for his seat and, according to his Web site, is in the process of collecting the signatures needed to qualify for the ballot.

Modern Whig state assembly candidate profiled in The Trentonian

The Modern Whig Party’s first candidate for office and their only candidate on the ballot this November is Gene Baldassari, a New Jersey State Assembly candidate in the 14th district.  The Trentonian recently ran this piece profiling him:
