Natural Law Party of Michigan Officially Nominates De La Fuente/Richardson Ticket

Yesterday, the Natural Law Party of Michigan, the last remaining ballot qualified entity of the now-defunct national Natural Law Party, officially nominated businessman Rocky De La Fuente for president and historian Darcy Richardson for vice president, Ballot Access News reports.  The Alliance Party, for which De La Fuente/Richardson is the 2020 ticket, previously announced an agreement to use the ballot line of the Natural Law Party of Michigan. … Read more ...

Oregon Progressive Party Nominates Candidates, Skips Gubernatorial Race

Richard Winger reports at Ballot Access News:

The ballot-qualified Progressive Party of Oregon held a nominating convention on August 19, and nominated five congressional candidates, one nominee for state office, and two for partisan county office.  The nominee for State Office is Walt Brown, who is running for Treasurer.  Brown was also the Socialist Party’s presidential nominee in 2004.

Natural Law Party nominates Moore in Miss., Nader in Mich.

Ballot Access News is reporting that the Natural Law Party of Mississippi has given their ballot line to Socialist Party USA candidate Brian Moore.

The Natural Law Party of Mississippi is one of only two remaining state affiliates of the once formidable, by third-party standards anyhow, Natural Law Party. The other affiliate is in Michigan, where ballot-access laws allow a party to continue fielding candidates so long as a statewide candidate receives at least 1% of the total for the most recent winning candidate for Secretary of State (in practice, about 0.5%).… Read more ...

Natural Law Party puts Ralph Nader on Michigan ballot

Close on the heels of his victory in California, where the Peace and Freedom Party just put Nader on the ballot, the Natural Law Party of Michigan just did the same. Ballot Access News reports:

On July 30, 2008, the Michigan Natural Law Party nominated Ralph Nader for president, and submitted the needed paperwork.
