The AP reports that the Arkansas Green Party has, at the last minute, found a candidate to take on Democrat Dwayne Dobbins for the state legislature in a race that could be winnable. In 2005, Dobbins “resigned and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment in a plea bargain reached after he was arrested on a felony sexual assault charge. Prosecutors alleged that Dobbins fondled a 17-year-old girl at his home.” The Greens have nominated Richard Carroll, who said, “The Dobbins issue just pushed me to it. I disagree with the situation with him running for office after the unfortunate incident that happened.”
While Carroll and Dobbins are the only two candidates in the race right now, Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman Bill Gwatney “has said he hopes to recruit someone to run as a write-in candidate against Dobbins. The deadline to file to run as a write-in candidate is Aug. 6.”

If he can’t take this race, he might want to reconsider his campaigning skills.
This is just state legislature, not Congress, but very good news indeed.
Yes, let’s get a Green in Congress!
