AIP’s Bird still not invited to Alaska U.S. Senate candidate forum

Alaska’s Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that the Alaskan Independence Party has “made little headway in gaining a seat” for U.S. Senate nominee Bob Bird at an upcoming Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce candidate forum. Party chair Lynette Clark asked the Chamber to waive a policy requiring a party to have received “more than 3 percent of the total vote in the last election” in order to be invited, but the organization has yet to agree.

Requirements based on past election are self perpetuating. Until you get the exposure you will not get the votes. Who do we call to complain.
