Libertarian candidate for Missouri lieutenant governor debates rivals

The AP says Missouri Libertarian Teddy Fleck was left “largely on the sidelines during much of the sniping” between his Democratic and Republican rivals for lieutenant governor during a three-way debate Friday. Fleck “joined in the fray over a proposed constitutional amendment that would have created a one-eighth cent sales tax to boost funding for the state Veterans Commission.” He said he “opposes all tax increases and is concerned that some of the state services that would have been funded through the sales tax would be duplicating those already available through the federal government.”
