Libertarians polling well in North Carolina’s big races

Libertarian candidates register in the mid-single digits in the presidential, U.S. Senate, and gubernatorial races in North Carolina, according to a new poll. A Public Policy Polling survey (+/- 3.9%) shows Bob Barr at four percent in the presidential race, Chris Cole at six percent in the Senate race, and Michael Munger at six percent in the gubernatorial race. In the latter two races, Democrats lead Republicans by just one point; in the presidential race, John McCain leads Barack Obama by four points.
