Kentucky Libertarian U.S. House candidate Martin disqualified

WLKY.com reports Ed Martin, the Libertarian candidate for Kentucky’s Third District U.S. House seat, has been disqualified. The Kentucky Court of Appeals “handed down its ruling Thursday, saying Martin is registered as a Republican, not a Libertarian, and that any votes for him will not be counted. Martin said he’s disappointed with the ruling, adding he’s only a Republican on paper.”

This does seem to be a recurring issue in several places. I’m certainly up for coffee!

So, um, nobody suggested that he register as a Libertarian “on paper” before filing his papers to be a candidate for the Libertarian Party?

Kentucky had that thing with Landham, didn’t they? Is there coffee in that state?
