Libertarian Root weighs in on Ohio city council race

Ohio’s Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports this morning that Libertarian presidential hopeful Wayne Allyn Root “is backing fellow Libertarian Sean Kalin Stipe” for Lorain City Council, “according to a news release from Stipe. In his endorsement, Root said Stipe is ‘the last best hope for real leadership in Lorain. Kalin has the game plan that will return Lorain to a thriving city and a sage place to raise your family.'”

Regardless of what one thinks of Root as a “libertarian” (I’m still on ‘wait and see’ mode), I gotta admit that his active support for local candidates is an overall good thing.

We here at Third Party Revolution endorse Sean Stipe in his campaign for Lorain Council-At-Large, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nation-wide, ranging from local to federal levels.

Wayne has been a great source of information. The timing of his endorsement and the release of his book was well timed. This endorsement has gotten a lot of attention for myself as well as the fact that the Libertarian Party now shares the same ballot access in Ohio as the 2 other parties.

Thank you for sharing this info for me.
