On August 27, the two Kentucky Republicans who had filed a lawsuit in state court to remove the only two minor party congressional candidates this year dropped their lawsuit. The lawsuit had alleged that neither the Libertarian, nor the Constitution, Party nominees for U.S. House, 3rd district, had enough valid signatures.
