Nader: I am Looking for Someone to Challenge Obama in 2012

Perennial third-party candidate Ralph Nader predicted on Wednesday that President Obama’s tax deal with Republicans will earn him a primary challenge in 2012.

Though he wouldn’t rule out another presidential campaign himself, Nader, 76, said he hoped a new face would take up the progressive cause.

“I’m not foreclosing the possibility … There are just other things to do,” he said in an interview. “And it’s time for someone else to continue. I’ve done it so many times. When I go around the country, I’m telling people they need to find somebody.”

Nader, a consumer advocate, described the immense procedural difficulty – the “obstructions and litigations” – of appearing on the ballot in every state as a third-party candidate. He ran under the Green Party banner in 1996 and 2000 and as an independent in 2004 and 2008, and earned less than 3 percent of the overall vote each time.

    When he ran in 2000, his 2.7% was the best showing by the presidential nominee of a “left” party since 1924. His 2000 showing was better than the showing of Henry Wallace in 1948, running on the Progressive Party ticket. And Wallace was a former vice-president and former holder of two cabinet positions.

    MP Ralph Nader [Independent]…let’s work together. Who are YOUR choices?

    Let’s work together as a team!

    Don’t you remember me from 1995, when your assistant gave me permission to put your name on our eballot? Well guess what, in 1997 my name got turned into a multi-billion search engine! GoOgle/A Female for President!
    (That’s for female voters, Go A Female/Ogle for males)

    How do you like it? What are you waiting for?

    CENTRAL CALIFORNIA: USA Parliament received very important radio communication from 16th Prime Minister Mary J. Ruwart [Libertarian]. It appears she is in trouble;

    “[12/11/2010 7:01:19 AM] MaryRuwart: Best wishes!”

    This does not bode well, something looks wrong. She was our top female battle hardened spiritual warriors. We must coordinate and go after her. Perhaps Milnes? We get Milnes to lead us to her. Robert Milnes [Info. Not Avail.] is much more apt to lead us as a team. One male and one female (or visa versa)…we go with Milnes.

    How about Milnes/Ruwart/Ogle [Info. Not Avail./Libertarian/Free Parliamentary]? Milnes, can we follow you in? It would be a female/Milnes/a female/male for males.

    We’re not dead yet, we still have a chance. But if we’re going to die fighting the eternal battle, we may as well have fun while we do it. Perhaps we can gather a small army? Opposite gender #1 beginning with Milnes #1 (for female), and consecutively ranked genders thereafter for eternity.

    What say you, Milnes? Like it yet? We don’t have 35 million dollars, but it’s Milnes/Ruwart for females. And if we can’t draft Ruwart we find as many multiple alternatives as possible to go with our plan.

    We practice in 2011. How about if we self appoint your name to our team, with the ministrerial position of your choice?

    James, I believe that Ruwart has behaved in a similar way towards Milnes as towards yourself; at first showing positive signs of forming a team, but then backing out. Like MP Ralph Nader, she is probably not the right person to take leadership in the movement.

    Robert, I think you should join the USA Parliament. I know it is hard for you to work with reactionary counter-revolutionaries, but it is what needs to be done at this time. You can even form a PLAS coalition with the Greens, Libertarians and the Catholic Trotskyists within USA Parliament, along with possibly the Pot, Marijuana and Environmentalist Parties? This coalition might defeat the right-wing. You could form a new party temporarily, the PLAS party.

    @5 Jacob, I really appreciate your input on the USA Parliament. We can really use your energy and enthusiasm at all levels.

    A thousand thank yous.

    In fact, I’ve voted for your name as national Prime Minister. See my vote for you near the bottom at;

    But regarding 16th PM Mary J. Ruwart, you need a little guidance.

    The parliament is a new kind of system, sort of an open-ended appointment system. Somehow, I don’t feel right about writing her off.

    I had bought her book _Healing Our World in an Age of Aggression_, and after reading it I can tell you she is undoubtedly the kind of leader we need.

    Her book is geared more towards those who are Nott Libertarians, like myself. She explains how the philosophy is applied in all kinds of cases. Her book really does the selling of her as a person.

    So what we have to do, Robert Milnes included, is give her all the support we can. If this was Normandy Beach is France on June 6th, 1944, I’d be saying; “let’s lay down the ground support and cover her.”

    I don’t think there’s another person of her caliber. Her knowledge about all kinds of subjects with regards to Libertarianism is profound. From banking to social issues.

    Especially economics.

    Robert Milnes, don’t worry about if she has treated you poorly, she is “our man”. She is such a positively genius person and such a good person too. And I would not be surprised if it was her *tactic* to do nothing to help us. She’s smart enough that she can do that.

    That’s how I perceive her, as being a very giving person.

    BTW, if you want here book, at $14. it’s a good deal /and she signs it too. You can order it at http://www.ruwart.com

    Ruwart/Ogle for President!
    [Libertarian/Free
    Parliamentary]

    (Ogle/Ruwart for females)

  6. Robert Milnes

    My experience with Ruwart is from the 2008 race. She made several simplistic blunders. Politically she is first grade-as in just after kindergarten.
    She needs my political acumen as much as I need her popularity with the radicals.
