LP’s Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson’s Speech at Paulfest

Gary Johnson, presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party, was invited to speech at Paulfest, which is one of several festivals being held in Tampa the weekend before the Republican convention. The festivals were organized by Paul supporters who wish to continue his views of small government, non-intervention in foreign countries, and adherence to the United States Constitution in the event that Dr. Paul does not become the GOP’s candidate for the President of the United States.

    One of his best speeches I’ve seen. Definitely love seeing him get passionate about ending the wars. I think GJ’s been getting to be a way more effective speaker the past few months. The only thing I think he needs to work on now is being more effective at the 1 minute network TV blips he gets to be on sometimes. He really does way better once he has a couple minutes to warm into his things – but a lot of the TV appearances these days are more about getting in the one clever soundbite quickly than actually going into depth. I think this latter thing will come with more practice though. I’m very happy with the level of effort the GJ campaign has been putting into this election.

    The link to the speech did not work for me, hopefully its just my computer. However, I saw the video previously and I though his speech was great. A great man. I was very impressed by his delivery, his ideas and his passion. Gary Johnson has continued to improve as a public speaker. I will be making another donation to his campaign come September 1st.
