Constitution Party: A thank you for many reasons

Dear Friend:

We don’t hear the words “thank you” enough—professionally or in politics. Good work, loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication can be taken for granted or not even noticed.

Not so with the Constitution Party. I’m so grateful CPers set-up party booths to distribute literature at county fairs, gun shows, and patriotic conventions. That’s what effective grass roots politics is all about: people-to-people contact.

State parties have designed eye-catching and informative literature, aimed at making an impact at the local level. Educational and motivational tools, including pamphlets, DVDs, CDs, addressing a variety of issues, are key to building a network of friends, allies, and—eventually—Constitution Party members. That’s what we need to sustain growth, and I appreciate the creative work involved.

Many of our tech-savvy members have engaging websites and reach out to constitutionalists via e-mails and social media. These days, that’s a component of our work. My deepest thanks for your dedication.

Finally, your generous financial support of the Constitution Party is nothing short of humbling. I know there have been many sacrificial gifts and members who have come to the aid of our party over and over again. All I can offer you is a quote from Albert Schweitzer that someone once sent me:

“To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.”
