Now this guy sounds like a competent candidate. Entrepreneur, native Virginian, intellectual with several degrees. Good choice by the Virginia LP.

Getting into the debates would be awesome! (I know that sounds like a teeny bopper but it really is true.)

Every picture’s worth a thousand words. Film is 24 pictures in one second, and video is often 27+ frames in one second. Video is the means by which libertarian memes are best communicated, unless the communicator is a bad communicator, or the video fails in some way.

It’s too bad that some of the best video on youtube encourages “political relinquishment” (similar to “technological relinquishment,” but in the narrower area of “political technology” such as the social communication and upholding of expected election standards, expected jury standards, expected free speech standards, expectations of privacy, and expectations of habeas corpus).

When society views its ability to limit the arbitrary power of sociopaths in government as a kind of technology, it can engineer solutions to its problems. Such solutions take the form of incremental improvements to existing technology, or the restoration of broken technology (in the case of jury trials and elections). Until then, libertarianism is a bunch of unrecognizable jibber-jabber from easily-dismissed political minorities with “single issue” axes to grind.

Yes, but what polygamy and lowering the age of consent? He must have a strong stance on those issues!

Sarvis seems sane and articulate. My guess is he’s never even THOUGHT about the bestiality issue! 😉

It has nothing to do with your computer. There is an embed code you can post and adjust instead of just the URL.

Thomas, that didn’t work , either, which is why I think it’s my old computer. I’ll try it tomorrow on my work computer.

You don’t need any “code to resize videos on WordPress.” When you click share/embed at Youtube, there’s a form to put in the width/height you want, then you just grab the embed code and you’re golden.

Thanks, Chris. I tried that code last night and it didn’t work, but I’ll try it on another computer.

I don’t really see a need to resize videos, but I’m glad you found something that works.

Okay, so the code to resize videos on WordPress is this:

I did a lot of frustrating searching on the interwebs and then tried out several methods, and this one is the only to work.
