Stein: ACA “does not solve the problem”

Appearing on the Huffington Post’s HuffPost Live Friday, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein was asked about the prospects for single-payer healthcare given the animosity over the Affordable Care Act.

Stein said the ACA “doesn’t have a whole lot of support because it doesn’t really do the job. … The Affordable Care Act does not solve the problem, healthcare costs continue to skyrocket. … The American people deserve a real solution that will deliver healthcare, cut costs, and do the job that we need.”

I don’t see any evidence that the American people have done anything to deserve that.

I agree with this statement – “The American people deserve a real solution that will deliver healthcare, cut costs, and do the job that we need.”
