Hmmm, the youtube trailer was working when I posted this, but now I see that it’s not available on my computer. Has it disappeared for everyone?
It works fine for me, Jill.
Which candidates are actually confirmed to participate in this debate? All eleven?
So it’s not actually live or free?
An article from this morning also said there would be 11 candidates. That would be everyone but Joy Waymire.
They should use more exclamation points in the description of the event.
There will even be a singer during intermission!!
I have watched, and participated in, many debates, but I don’t ever remember one with a halftime show!(!)
LOL on the halftime show. I’m not interested unless there’s a MARCHING BAND!
I had to work hard to resist the urge to edit.
Jill, there will be so many candidates on stage, if they gave each of them an instrument, they could form their own marching band!
Good point, Langa!
Too many candidates. I think we can only handle the top 2.
I have been told that all 12 candidates listed at LP National were invited, and one could not attend. There will be 11 candidates. At some point in the debate, there will be a poll taken on-site and 4 candidates will then proceed to an extra round.
I would have personally suggested top-6 (top half) but ignoring my preference, it sounds like a great configuration. This debate will probably set the tone for the next 3 months, leading to our national convention.
Some clarification please, so this can be promoted?! Is the debate being streamed live at the https://youtu.be/zC8V1qf696k link, which is titled as an announcement not the actual debate, or will the streaming be done by a different link yet to appear on mslp.org?
This is the latest information I’ve seen. I’ll definitely update the article with any new info I find.
I’m actually quite excited for this! We’ll get to know some of the less talked about candidates.
Live stream will be at: mslp.org/debate
Thanks to the Mississippi and Alabama LPs for making this happen, and especially for making it visible to those who can’t physically attend!
Austin looks great in the video, was this edited by his campaign (everyone else looks worse).
And, what happened to FOX Business broadcasting this? Will they cover the second portion with the final four? Or CSPAN, were they invited to cover this, I wonder?
Joe, the FOX debate is a separate one from this weekend’s. I don’t believe a date has been chosen for it yet.
An updated link for the live stream is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkjDWPXi62o
So where is the real link for the debate? Or have the Feds already shut it down?
Looks like they decided on a final five structure. This Feldman is a zzzzzzzzzz
A better version (though not the professionally edited multi-camera version) of the debate is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81Hw0pD8wjg
