791109168f9766207150ef17018da8beec8199aeFrom the LPRadicals website:

The Libertarian Party Radical Caucus has reviewed the reports of the Bylaws Committee and the Platform Committee and issued its positions and recommendations. On items on which there was “no position” taken there was either not a clear radical concern or there was not consensus amongst the LPRC Board. Items which were supported or opposed had clear consensus and radical concern. Further details on several items of opposition will be published.

Please view and print the Position sheet here.

  1. OK, to quote in full LP Radical Caucus position reads;

    “NO POSITION: Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue amongst delegates, the LPRC leaves this to each delegate’s conscientious consideration.”

    Again, the issue of whether the state should enforce compulsory pregnancy on a woman IS a sensitive issue – for women who do not want to be slaves of the state!! And men who don’t want them to be either!!!

    See our revised and updated page on the Prez and VP candidates positions on abortion: http://pro-choicelibertarians.net/2016-race/

    The LP Radicals call for the LP to have NO POSITION on abortion because the issues is “too sensitive”?
    That’s not the recommendation. The LPRC has taken no position on the proposals to modify the plank

    I just love sweet hearts like Greg. Yes, actually quite a few people do, and our membership has jumped. Vitriolic rants like that help. Thanks!

    LRC? Dyslexic much? Sounds more like the RLC to me.

    “Does ANYONE, REALLY give a shit about what the Radical Caucus thinks?”

    Let’s hope not!

  6. Accidentally pushed post before quoting Sharon Presley:

    “Individual liberty, self-determination, private property, and limited government are all libertarian principles that logically lead to the pro-choice position. To sacrifice existing persons for the sake of future generations—in slave labor camps, involuntary servitude, compulsory childbearing, or life-threatening abortions—violates everything we hold dear.”

  7. The LP Radicals call for the LP to have NO POSITION on abortion because the issues is “too sensitive”? Murray Rothbard who started the original LP Radicals must be rolling in his grave.
