Gary Nolan, host of the Gary Nolan Show and a 2004 candidate for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination, endorsed 2020 Libertarian presidential candidate Jo Jorgensen today after Jorgensen appeared on his radio show.
According to a press release from the Jorgensen campaign, Nolan remarked:
As a Libertarian candidate, Jo Jorgensen hits all the important buttons for me. She is bright, articulate and relate-able. She knows how to demonstrate our constitutional views without sounding like she is throwing the poor and the elderly under the bus. What a great ambassador for liberty!
Nolan was a leading candidate for the party’s 2004 nomination along with film producer Aaron Russo and computer programmer Michael Badnarik. After a third place finish on the second ballot at the Libertarian National Convention, Nolan withdrew and threw his support behind Badnarik who won the nomination on the third ballot.
