Great ad But….. People are not talking about the WAR ( which war ?) Topic number one is Healthcare , Number 2 is Race Relations, Number 3 is people don’t have enough money. All can be solved by the free market………… The best color is not black, it is not white , it is GREEN POWER which is the color of money. Money is Independence , money is power, money is freedom We need that speech from the movie “Wall Street ” “Greed IS GOOD”
Different people are talking about different things and world events may well make international intervention a bigger issue between now and the election. It’s already a huge issue by anyone and everyone who is or has family or friends in the military, who has been impacted by current and past US participation in overseas conflicts, and everyone who understates how that impacts other issues including health care, race relations and government spending, taxation and debt, which impacts the economy.

Yeah . . . Greed! That’ll win them over. If you want to perpetuate the stereotypes about libertarians, go with that!

Self interest is a winning issue. People want to know “what’s in for me.” Instead of government giving them benefits , we must demonstrate the free market will give them better benefits. By the way, the AD does not
mention Libertarian Party,

Well, we would have a lot more money in our pockets if we weren’t forced to fund a war racket. I could build up a nice HSA with the money stolen from my check.
I am currently a paid member of the Libertarian Party. I watched the video. I liked it. I don’t have any complaint that it doesn’t have any mention or reference to the LP.

You need to learn how to read a room. This is almost as blind as liberals (of which I am one) saying “defund the police” (especially when that’s not even what they are suggesting).
You have to think “how is this going to be viewed by people who disagree with me” (i.e. people you are trying to convert.
Libertarians have the (correct) stereotype of being selfish and not ever caring about the greater good.

Defunding them is a good first step.
(especially when that’s not even what they are suggesting).
What is not who is suggesting? You lost me there.

Not in my experience. I have found many libertarians to be very caring, generous people. And many to be uncaring, sociopathic assholes. But then the same can be said of people of any other ideology too.
Greed is NOT good. It never is.
Yes and no. It depends on what you call greed. If you consider any profit motive or desire to accumulate wealth and enjoy luxury to be greed, I’d have to disagree. It actually does a lot of good by driving innovation, hard work, and greater productivity that ends up benefiting others as well. And if you understand the calculation problem in economics, profit motive does a better job of calculating allocation of resources than any type of central plan, whatever its motivation. But if you consider greed to be ends without regards to means, you are mostly correct; it’s a destructive impulse.

Many Greens, like this Watermelon Green, support defunding the police, too.
Liberals like you are why I’m a leftist of some sort.

Peace is in most people’s self interest. And justice is also a winning issue. People want to know “what’s the right thing to do.”

Median net worth of a congress critter is north of 7 figures. It appears government is rule by greedy people.
Liberalism is a fine theory in the textbooks.
